Sensitive Josh

Josh does not like it when Daddy fills air tanks. He used to go hide in his room with the door shut and the fan on. We have gotten him to wear these so that he may resume his normal activities while Daddy is working.

No more gum!

Twenty minutes before bedtime, Megan decided to play with her sugar free gum. She had a web of gum in her hand and somehow managed to spread it to her eyebrow, chin, pajamas, foot and her Mom's arm. I tried to wash it off with soap and water, but that does not work. With the help of her Grandma Doane and a computer, we found that peanut butter will do the trick. I opened a jar of peanut butter and found that it was crunchy PB I had chosen. I gave Megan a facial of PB and it did the trick.

More Construction Pics

These pics are of the intersection in front of our house. Josh loves to watch and will be sad when they leave.

The Pledge

One of the things that Megan has learned in Kindergarten.

Listen closely at the end.

No More Diapers!

Josh has been in underwear for about a month. He has only had a few accidents. (Except his potty strike while camping) We gave him his potty prize today. He chose this scooter a few months ago and has been admiring its box each time he visited the bathroom.

Road Construction

Construction has officially begun on our street. Our once quiet neighborhood has turned into a construction site. They took our mailbox away in the bucket of a bulldozer. Josh has fun watching at the front door. I am glad that Tim installed a screen door last spring or I would have to hold him at the window.

Family Pic

The girls both needed a family photo for school. I looked through our pictures and realized we did not have any with the five of us that was recent. Tim hates his picture taken. We took this one last week so they would have one to take. This fall I would like to get a better one taken. I have convinced Tim to get one taken.

Back to School

We put the girls on the bus for the first time this year. That was really hard!
