We were long overdue for pictures. Our last family picture was almost 3 years ago and the kids pictures were over a year old. I am very glad to have new one. They turned out great! Enjoy!

Star Scholar-Day 5

Today Callie showed her Build-A-Bears. She took all five bears and had dressed them all carefully earlier this week. She talked about cheerleading. She brought her pom poms and megaphone. She did a cheer for the class as well.

This morning, Callie was sad about how fast her Star Scholar week went. She had a lot of fun though!!

Star Scholar-Day 2

Callie asked her Grandma Hall to share with the class about her job as a Nurse. She brought a special black light. It helped to show the dirt and germs that are left on hands even after hand washing.

Star Scholar

Each week at school throughout the year, each student has a chance to be Star Scholar. Callie was chosen this week. Each day she is allowed sharing time. She was able to plan each day what she wanted to share.

On Monday, Callie brought pictures to share with the class and her American Girl doll.

Student of the Month

Megan was chosen for student of the month from her class. Each month the school focuses on one character trait. Megan was chosen for the trait of responsibility.

Her teacher wrote this about her: "Responsibility is a very valuable character trait. Megan is one of the most responsible students I have ever met! She knows what is expected in class, and sets a great example for others. Megan is a super student. She listens, follows directions, and helps others. I can count on Megan to do the responsible thing, even when I am not looking. She is always listed as a great helper in my substitute teacher notes!"

Congrats Megan!
